Privacy Policy

This page explains what information MBM Baseball Training collects through this website, how we use it, and who helps us handle it.
What we collect
We collect what you choose to send us, plus a note of which page of this site you started from (more on that under "Cookies, analytics and tracking" below):
- Lesson and package inquiries: the parent or guardian's name, the player's name and age, phone, email, the package or program you're interested in and where you'd like to train, what the player wants to work on, their current level or team, their goals, preferred days, times and general area, and how you heard about us.
- Team lesson and clinic inquiries: your name and role, the team, league or organization name, phone, email, the players' age group, the number of athletes, the home field name and city, the kind of sessions you're looking for, preferred dates and times, focus areas, any notes, and how you heard about us.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone and message.
- How you use this website: the pages you view, your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and technical details such as your device, browser and country, collected by Microsoft Clarity (see "Cookies, analytics and tracking" below).
- Online booking: your name, email and phone number, plus any questions or notes you add and the email addresses of any guests you invite when you pick a time.
If you call, text or email Coach Myles, we also have whatever you send that way.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your questions, schedule and run lessons, team sessions and clinics, and stay in touch about your player's training. We never sell your information.
Who helps us handle it
We use a few service providers to run this website, our forms, booking and email. Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy:
- Tally runs our lesson, team and contact forms. Tally privacy policy
- Cal.com runs our online booking calendar. Cal.com privacy policy
- Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from abuse. Like any web host, it handles technical data such as your IP address when you visit. Cloudflare privacy policy
- Microsoft runs Clarity, the website analytics tool described below. Microsoft privacy policy
- Google provides the reCAPTCHA spam check in our Tally forms and our email (Gmail). Google privacy policy
Calls and texts go through our phone carrier.
Players and children
Our players are ages 8–18. Player details come from a parent or guardian. Team inquiries come from a coach or organizer and ask only for the age group and number of athletes, not individual players' details. This website isn't meant for children to send us their own information. If you think a child has sent us information without a parent or guardian, email us so we can remove it.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
We use Microsoft Clarity, a free analytics tool, to see how visitors use this website: which pages they view, where they click and scroll, and recordings of visits. We use what we learn to fix confusing pages and make booking easier, not to identify you. Clarity sets cookies in your browser and records the pages you view, your clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and technical details such as your device, browser and country. It hides what you type into form fields, and it can't see inside the Cal.com and Tally frames, so the details you enter when you book or send a form aren't recorded.
Microsoft runs Clarity and is a separate controller of the data it collects through it, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Microsoft says it may use that data to provide and improve its products and services and to create user profiles for purposes that include advertising, and that it collects or receives personal data to provide Microsoft Advertising. We don't run advertising of our own on this website. Clarity doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals, so nothing changes when your browser sends one, but it does support Global Privacy Control. To opt out of Clarity, use the button below, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance's tool at optout.aboutads.info and choose Microsoft. An ad blocker or tracking-protection extension may also block it. We don't load Clarity at all for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, because Clarity requires a consent choice from visitors there and this website doesn't collect one. We work out your country from your connection using Cloudflare, which already handles your visit, and if we can't tell, Clarity isn't loaded.
The button below saves a small setting in this browser (it isn't a cookie, and nothing is sent to us or to Microsoft) that stops this website from loading Clarity in this browser. It covers only this browser and profile, so repeat it in each browser you use, including one built into another app. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Turning analytics off here needs JavaScript. Without it, Clarity doesn't run anyway.
The one thing noted automatically: when you book online or send one of our forms, the booking or message notes which page of this site you started from (for example, the packages page), so we know which pages help families find us. That's only the page address, never anything that identifies you.
The booking calendar and forms on this site are embedded from Cal.com and Tally. They run under those providers' own privacy policies and may use their own cookies. The Tally forms also load Google services, including the reCAPTCHA spam check, which run under Google's privacy policy. Cloudflare's bot protection may set a security cookie to tell visitors apart from bots.
