Our home base is Heartwell Park and Marina Vista Park is another common spot, but the whole point of MBM is that the lesson comes to you. Whether your player is gearing up for Little League tryouts, PONY ball, or a travel-team season, we meet at a field that fits your schedule and build a plan around exactly what they need to get better.
Every private lesson is true 1-on-1 — no shared reps, no standing in line. We work hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and baseball IQ, but it starts with the mental game: how to compete, how to shake off a bad at-bat, and how to develop the right way as a young athlete instead of burning out.
Long Beach has real baseball history and a deep youth scene, which means real competition every weekend. The goal isn't just to look good in a lesson — it's to carry it into Saturday's game.

How much are private lessons in Long Beach?
A 30-minute private lesson is $55 and a 60-minute lesson is $75. Those rates are for lessons at local fields and parks starting 8 AM–6 PM. The first 30-minute lesson is free, one per family, and the Packages page lists every option, including the 10-Session Package.
What ages do you coach?
Players ages 8–18, from first-year Little Leaguers to high-school athletes prepping for a travel or varsity season.
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes — the first 30-minute lesson is a skill evaluation and Q&A with Coach Myles, with no obligation.
Can the first lesson be done by video call?
Yes. The free first lesson can be at a local field or park, or by video call, whichever is easier for your family.
